    Hi folks,

    Have tried to find this info on DWP, Pension Serivce & this site all without success so far so am putting it out to you guys.

    Have been told that Widows Pension & SRP would not be able to be paid concurrently as once widow chooses to claim their own SRP the WP ceases.

    Can anyone lead me to documentation that can confirm this please?

    Cheers Phil.

    Tells me everything about how you qualify for it, when you qualify for it but nothing about it’s end date other than when achieved pensionable age.

    Back to the drawing board

    I think you will find chapter and verse in the Social Security (Overlapbing Benefits) Regulations 1979 as amended
