Just trying to get my head round pension credits, just been reading the Social Security (Claims and Payments and Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2003

Could someone explain to me whether Regulation 2(2)(6B) of SI 2003 No. 1632 has the effect that LAs are about to start accepting claims for:
    attendance allowance,
    bereavement benefit,
    carer’s allowance,
    disability living allowance,
    incapacity benefit,
    retirement pension, and
    winter fuel payment

That should keep us busy, lol 🙄

Only if the Secretary of State has “made arrangements” with the council concerned. Looks like the regulatory framework is being put in place for some future One-stop working arrangements to be phased in or piloted on individual sites.

Someone who represents LAs at liaison meetings with DWP might know more about future policy intentions in this area?

Peter, I agree that the key phrase at this time is wherether the SoS has “made arrangements”

I would be interested to know if anyone is aware of the policy intention here.
