About us

Mole Valley lies at the heart of Surrey. The towns of Dorking and Leatherhead are the District’s main centres. The M25, A24 and A25 are within easy reach.

Our purpose built open-plan offices are located in Dorking. We are opposite the Sports Centre which offers a 6 lane 25m swimming pool, sports hall, gym, aerobics studio and café and Dorking Halls, which provides a range of facilities including a café, cinema, theatre and concerts.

We operate a dynamic, lively and professional environment and we are a very approachable team.

About the role

Are you an ambitious benefit professional looking for a new challenge? For the right person, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small and dynamic in-house team, where you will get involved in all aspects of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support assessments including new claims, reviews and DHPs.

About you

The successful candidates will have sound knowledge and proven experience of having assessed Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims, along with a strong understanding of the changes around Universal Credit and Supported and Temporary accommodation.

You will have extensive experience of using benefit software, preferably Academy systems, as well as experience of using a document management system.

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and takes pride in delivering a first-class service.
