We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our busy Council Tax Unit based at Queens Buildings, Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

As part of your role, you will be required to create, end and amend Council Tax liabilities, award discounts and exemptions, and provide complex information and advice to customers either in person, telephone, email or in writing. You must therefore have effective communication skills, both written and oral and have the confidence to deal with difficult or sensitive situations.

You must also have relevant experience of working in an office or customer service environment and be proficient in the use of Microsoft products and mobile services. Practical and procedural knowledge of Council Tax would be an advantage.

This position will be subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service check

Salary range / grade: Grade 4 i.e. £22,571 to £24,920, per annum
