We provide fully managed remote services and work closely with many Local Authorities in the UK using a variety of software systems.

What we are looking for
- Ideally you will have at least 5 years current/recent Revenues experience with a Local Authority, remote processing service or agency.
- Experience in Council Tax Billing and/or Recovery.
- Experience of using computerised processing systems such as Capita Academy, Northgate, Civica Open Revenues or similar.
- Experience of using computerised document management systems such as Anite, Civica W2, Northgate workflow or similar.
- Experience in dealing with day to day administration, billing, collection and recovery of local taxation.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service in a high-pressured environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills when dealing with inbound and outbound customer enquiries by phone, letter, or email.
- Be proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating an ability to work independently and make decisions for yourself.
- Maintain Customer accounts and award discounts and exemptions which carry monetary value.
- Demonstrate that you have strong communication skills and the ability to show an understanding of working within the constraints of legislation.
- A good knowledge of general data protection.
- Be experienced in a performance driven environment as you will be expected to achieve daily targets.
- Be able to balance quality against quantity, whilst maintaining a low error rate.
- Ideally live within reasonable travelling distance to either of our offices at Skipton or Warrington, however this is not essential.
What we can offer to you as a permanent employee
- Permanent full-time employment up to 37hrs per week basic or flexible part-time working
- Flexible working supporting a good work life balance including home working with access to our offices in Skipton and Warrington.
- Starting Salary £22,500 p.a (pro rata’d if part time).
- 26 days Holiday Entitlement (exclusive of bank holidays)
