We are seeking to recruit two experienced, forward thinking, highly motivated Team Managers whose technical abilities and extensive people management skills will confidently serve them to lead, manage and inspire an established team of officers.
You will be actively encouraged and empowered to champion new initiatives, combining previous knowledge and experience to best serve the challenges of the future, delivering innovation and improvements to transform our service delivery.
The successful applicant will be capable of working within a fast paced environment, possess the ability to adapt to ever changing situations, be able to prioritise and manage multiple work assignments and special projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate;
- A full working knowledge of relevant legislation and IT applications and an ability to disseminate this knowledge to colleagues.
- An ability to identify the need for, develop and implement new working methods and systems with minimal supervision
- An understanding of the importance of automation including the potential benefits and pitfalls associated with the increased use of automated processing
- An ability to assimilate and interpret complex legislation
- An ability to identify training needs and create training plans as part of the performance management scheme.
- The tact to approach difficult matters such as capability and sickness in a firm and appropriate manner
- The ability to produce, collate, and analyse statistical information as required
- The skills and confidence needed to motivate, empower, and encourage a team to meet strategic and service objectives
