LEAD REVENUES OFFICER (COUNCIL TAX)

The Council is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Revenues professional to join the Revenues Team and help provide an efficient and effective Revenues service for our customers.

The successful applicant should have previous experience of administering and processing all types of Council Tax billing functions in accordance with Regulations and the Council’s procedures and policies.  You should be an excellent team player with good communication skills and able to respond to enquiries in a polite and professional way.  You must have 3 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Mathematics grades 4-9.

The post is offered on a full-time basis of 37 hours per week, and home-based working will be considered for this position.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information and advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.

The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.

Salary range / grade: Salary Scale 2-4 (from £18,887 per annum)
