The Benefits Department are looking to recruit a new part-time Benefits Assessment Officer to process claims to both Housing Benefit and Local Council Tax Support. Previous experience of claim assessment is desirable but not essential.
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate high standards of quality and output in their work. The department supports some of the most vulnerable people in our community and we expect all candidates to be able to demonstrate an outstanding commitment to customer service through written correspondence, telephone and face to face communications.
