There are opportunities for the right candidates to join the busy Revenue & Benefit team, working in Housing Benefit Assessment and Business Rates/Sundry Debts.

You will be:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ideally some experience of working within a Revenue & Benefit or Debt Recovery setting.
  • The ability to learn, retain and apply often complex legislation.
  • Good communication skills, both in person, on the phone or in writing.
  • A good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good I.T skills ie Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to be adaptable to change.

You might have:

  • Experience of working in the public sector or for a local authority.

Salary range / grade: Assistant Grade 7-11 SCP 1-6 starting £18,333 Officer Grade 14-16 SCP 7-12 starting £20,444 Senior Revenue & Benefit Officer Grade 17-18 SCP 13-17 starting £23,023
