The Revenues & Benefits Shared Service between Basildon Borough Council and Brentwood Borough Council is the first and only shared Revenues & Benefits service in Essex, is managed entirely by Basildon Borough Council and is the largest in Essex.

We are seeking a permanent Revenues Officer to undertake a role our Recovery & Enforcement Team.
You will be part of our award winning Team, responsible for the Billing and Collection of either Council Tax or Miscellaneous Income.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering a quality service to our residents.
If you think you are a good all-rounder then this role could be for you.
In Revenues you need a broad skill set, as you will be dealing with a wide variety of people, from council tax payers, businesses, benefit claimants and other support agencies.
You will need to be good with numbers, have an ability to interpret and explain legislation, and be proficient with using IT systems.
Full training and ongoing coaching/mentoring will be given
