Revenues Officer

We are looking for a Revenues Officer to join our team responsible for the administration and collection of Council Tax. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines and targets.

The Revenues Officer deals with maintaining accurate Council Tax records in accordance with Council Tax legislation and council policies. Communicating with members of the public by telephone, by letter and by email, the successful applicant will need to be able to vary communication style depending on the situation to achieve the best outcome for the Council, while offering excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will need to be accurate, productive and flexible, to adapt to changing demands as well as possessing sound IT skills including a good understanding of Word and Excel.

The post holder will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The interviews are currently scheduled for the 13th and 14th December.
