Harlow Council’s Revenues and Benefits service has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager (Benefits) to join the team. The post form part of the Revenues and Benefits management team and is a key role in the delivery of services to the residents and businesses of Harlow.

Working with and reporting to the Assistant Director, Revenues and Benefits, you will have a technical specialism and will be expected to provide effective leadership, managing performance, service quality and improvement. The role will also have a corporate focus working with other key Council services to develop and deliver a range of corporate projects.

You will be joining the council at a critical and exciting stage of the organisation’s transformation. Our new Chief Executive will be leading the organisation as it works hard to deliver its ambition for the regeneration of the town centre, building new council homes, and restoring pride in the town.

As a fully qualified IRRV professional or IRRV Technician with an extensive and detailed working knowledge in a similar role, you will be committed to continuing professional development and general management training.

Salary range / grade: Salary: £44,539 - £46,549 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week (banking 30 minutes per week to be used towards the shut down between Christmas and New Year) - some homeworking
