An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Benefits Policy and Training Officer within the Benefits and Revenues Service of Bristol City Council.
This is a diverse role, and you will be responsible under the direction of the team leader, for working in areas such as interpreting legislative changes, supported accommodation decision making, providing advice on a range of issues to the senior management team and processing teams, training, providing technical advice on often complex and contentious issues and project work as required.
You will need a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, can communicate to a varied audience in writing and face to face, need the confidence to present information to large groups, need the ability to represent the council in a professional manner, be enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable.
