The Revenues & Benefits Shared Service between Basildon Borough Council and Brentwood Borough Council is the first and only shared Revenues & Benefits service in Essex, is managed entirely by Basildon Borough Council and is the largest in Essex.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised individual to be part of the Revenues and Benefits team. The main purpose of this post will be to capture business intelligence to support the delivery of the services key objectives. You will provide accurate and timely business intelligence that will help identify any key issues along with proposed solutions. This is a vital supporting role to day to day operations and is key, to operational performance and shaping our future service delivery strategy.
The post holder will work as part of the Revenues & Benefits Technical Team, ensuring consistency of approach throughout the service, focussing on high levels of customer service, protecting the tax base, embracing new ways of working whilst providing excellence in customer service.
