About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator and Project Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team at our offices in Bideford, working up to 37 hours per week. Please specify how many hours you would like to work, and the working pattern that would best suit your lifestyle, on your application form.

As a Systems Administrator and Project Officer working at Torridge, you will be responsible for the provision of IT systems within the department and provide technical expertise and support to the team. You will have the opportunity to lead the implementation and development of various initiatives and projects, ensuring the ongoing digital transformation of the service maximises IT efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Systems Administrator role, preferably within Revenues and/or Benefits, however this is not essential. You should also have the ability to interpret complex instructions and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in order to identify and solve problems.
