This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our expanding team. Working within the dynamic and constantly changing area of Benefits and Assessments.

We provide fully managed remote services and work closely with many Local Authorities in the UK using a variety of software systems.

What we are looking for


  • You will have at least 5 years current/recent experience with a Local Authority, remote processing service or agency.
  • Experience of assessing a wide range of complex claims including but not limited to Self Employed, Students and Person’s from Abroad.
  • Interested in hearing from officers with experience and familiarity in work items such as DHP’s, Reconsiderations, Appeals, Subsidy, Overpayment Recovery, Rents Collection, Team Management and Quality Assurance.
  • Interested in hearing from officers with experience within Financial Assessments.
  • Experience of using computerised processing systems such as Capita Academy, Civica Open Revenues, NEC or similar.
  • Experience of using computerised document management systems such as Anite, Civica W2, Enterprise or similar.
  • Experience in dealing with day-to-day administration, interpreting Housing Benefit and/or other regulations and being able to interrogate systems to validate and explain the action taken by an assessment officer to a customer.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Be able to deliver excellent customer service in a high-pressured environment, including a willingness to potentially take and make calls to members of the public.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills when dealing with inbound and outbound customer enquiries by phone, letter, or email.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating an ability to work independently and make decisions for yourself.
  • Be experienced in a performance driven environment as you will be expected to achieve daily targets.
