Unexpected change…..the changes to reg 7 on absence from home outside Great Britain will now not start until May one month later than the 1 announced April start date.

No date in May given…..with the regs still subject to consultation the Government has made a sudden decision to give LA’s more time to implement this change. Helpful…..bearing in mind the legislation is not yet in place and we have just 11 working days left until the proposed start date!
