“The scope of UC – which types of support are included and which remain outside the system. This strand will consider the debates over whether council tax support, housing benefit and childcare support should be included within UC or treated separately in terms of their impact on work incentives. It will also consider how passported benefits such as free school meals and free prescriptions should be dealt with”.
