Single Fraud Investigation Service (SFIS) Project

You may be aware that The House of Commons Work and Pensions Select Committee: Fraud and Error in the Benefits System report was published on the 15 May 2014. The report included a recommendation regarding the implementation of the Single Fraud Investigation Service (SFIS) project.

This letter is to inform you that Lord Freud, Minister for Welfare Reform has considered the Select Committee recommendation and has confirmed that we should proceed with the implementation of SFIS as planned.
