That is what we did, however our UC Partnership manager tells us that we should have calculated the overlapping HB amount based on our current LHA rates. So even though HB was overpaid at £464 pw over a 2 week period the overlapping amount on the MGP1 should be the equivalent of 2wks @ one bed LHA amount. This is apparently because, (a) UC would recover the 2 wk HBOP from the UC payment(s) due to the claimant leaving £0 to be paid even though the claimant would never have received the HB (it would have posted to the debtor account) and (b) the LA would never have recovered all of the HB payment through HB subsidy due to the subsidy cap.
