I was going to ask the same question but you beat me to it. Anybody?

You haven’t said what you are refering to, but if it’s the 3 month backdate provision then that is 27 October. If you are refering to the PS starting to send LACI’s then I am led to believe from a liaison meeting yesterday that this is also 27 October – although not 100% sure.

Sorry – I was referring to when the Pension Service start dealing with HB / CTB info. I have now been told testing in October with some LA’s and November roll out. But who knows

I meant the Pension Service sending the LACIS. We have not seen any information about the start date. Can you tell me where you go the date of the 27th Oct from please. Thanks.

    Hi jerikaz,

I got this date at a meeting with Local Pension Service and liaison officer from Pension centre, but as I said they weren’t 100% about this date.

Our pension service Cwmbran issued the following this week:

    Hello all
I’ve attached a document detailing the changes coming in with Wave 2. Hopefully you’ll find it useful. This also includes details on the new HB/CT process. We’ve been advised that the new process is being tested in some LAs during October and then implemented in all LAs from November. We haven’t been advised which LAs have been selected for testing so I’m assuming none of the LAs we deal with have been chosen

    We are waiting to see…[/quote]

We were told at a recent meeting “we believe it will be some time in October”. 8)

Just spoke to our contact in Seaham who states 05/11/08 (yes it’s a Wednesday).

Rang our local liaison officer yesterday. She confirmed that a meeting was being held yesterday to decide either:
    a) to go live with a big bang from 8.10.08
    b) to go live but only certain areas from 8.10.08
    c) to delay

She promised to email round all the LAs in her area but we have not received anything yet. I’ll ring her again this afternoon as this is getting to close for comfort.

With all the other changes in October, I’m beginning to despair about fitting in the training for our staff!

    Hi,

Just wondered if anyone had any updates, I have spoken to the Pension Service and they have said that it has gone live, it is also on their web-site. We still have not received any other confirmation.

    Thanks Jude

Our local Pension Service liaison officer has told me that the Warrington office will not be going live until the end of October. This is due to a delay in training the Pension service staff.
