Revs and Bens in Customer Contact centres

    We are being asked to merge Revs and Bens into a front end corporate customer services unit. At the moment they deal with most other standard queries but not Revs and Bens.

    I would be really interested to know of those councils who have successfully or otherwise! merged Revs and Bens enquiries into generic Customer Services units.

    I’d also like to know of councils where Revs and Bens are in CSU’s but dealt with seperately and by benefit customer services staff.
